Life Scan
Life Scan is an ultrasound that looks at your carotid artery, aorta, and femoral (leg) arteries. This is done to check for place build-up that can cause a stroke, heart attack, and/or cholesterol disease. Through this technology, we can catch and fix these issues before they become a problem.
Please note that Life Scans are not covered by any inssurance and are required to be paid for by the patient. That said, they are relatively inexpensive while providind a great deal of insight to your health. Life Scans are done in office by our ultrasound technician on Wednesday afternoons.
Mammography
Mammograms have aided in reducing breast cancer in the United States by an amazing 40% since 1990. They allow us to detect possible cancer in early stages where it is still treatable. The simple fact is that for every 1000 women screened, 5 are diagnosed with breast cancer. Stay safe and proactive; schedule your mammogram today!
Weight Management
No two people are the same. Everyone has their own goals and areas to overcome. Likewise, no singular weight-loss strategy will fit all people. Our Certified Diabetic Educator will work with you to assess your goals and physiological state. Together, we will create a plan that matches you and brings you to your goal.
